Habib Skaff, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer

Habib Skaff, Ph.D. co-founded Intezyne Technologies and serves as the company's Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Skaff also held the position of President and is currently the Chairman of Skaff Corporation of America (Tampa, Florida). Dr. Skaff, a synthetic chemist specializing in the area of nanotechnology, received a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. His doctoral studies involved the design of organic and polymeric ligands for the encapsulation of semiconductor nanoparticles and modification of the physical, optical, electronic, and assembly properties of the nanoparticles. He possesses a M.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering (Honors) from the University of Florida. Dr. Skaff serves as a member of the Florida High Tech Corridor Council and as an advisor for the USF Center for Entrepreneurship. He has co-authored 11 peer-reviewed scientific papers and is a co-inventor on 14 pending or issued patents in the fields of chemistry, nanotechnology, and biotechnology.

As Intezyne's CEO, Dr. Skaff is responsible for establishing and implementing strategic planning for the future. Dr. Skaff works closely with the CSO to develop and implement Intezyne's IP strategy as well as establish alliances with potential partners. He also leads Intezyne's fundraising through debt and equity financing.

Micheal Cole, M.B.A., Chief Financial Officer

Micheal Cole, M.B.A. earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Maryland and M.B.A. at Harvard University Business School. Mr. Cole served as Vice President of the Medical Division at Concept, Inc. until founding and serving as President of American Home Medical for two years. He subsequently joined Raymond James Financial, Inc. where he was appointed Managing Director and Senior Partner in the Investment Banking Group. In this role, Mr. Cole focused on full service investment banking service (aided in generating venture capital funding, mezzanine debt financing, and initial and secondary public offerings) to early stage and mid-stage healthcare companies. In addition to his role as Managing Director, Mr. Cole also founded and served as President of R.J. Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. He was responsible for the overall management of $110 million invested in 13 public and four private partnerships holding investment equipment valuing in excess of $250 million.

In 1994, Mr. Cole was the founder and CEO of the Chamberlain Funding Group, Inc. a NASD-registered investment bank. He also worked as the Director of a Department of Energy-funded Venture Capital Innovations and Commercialization Program. Most recently, Mr. Cole served as President of Sten+Barr Medical, Inc., guiding the company through a transitional period and eventual sale.

Kevin Sill, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer

Kevin Sill, Ph.D. a co-founder of Intezyne, is a synthetic polymer chemist and serves as the Chief Science Officer of Intezyne Technologies. Prior to Intezyne, Dr. Sill gained research experience in industrial and government labs including Nalco Chemical and the USDA. His undergraduate research focused on the synthesis of hyperbranched and liquid crystalline polymers at the University of Illinois. Doctoral studies involved the synthesis of novel ligands for preparation of nanoparticle-polymer materials. Dr. Sill completed his M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts and holds a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois. He has authored or coauthored 10 peer-reviewed publications and is a co-inventor on 18 pending or issued patents. Dr. Sill serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Chemical Society and is an independent member of the University of South Florida's Institutional Biosafety Committee.  In November of 2009, Dr. Sill was named "Young Innovator of the Year" by R&D Magazine.

Dr. Sill supervises research and development of current and future products including leading Intezyne's IND filings with the FDA. He directs research endeavors, both short and long-term, and also aids in the creation and implementation of the corporate IP strategy.
